Verifying Photographs of Russian-led Attacks in Front-Line the Zaporizhzhia Region
Recent overhead photographs seem to offer the strongest proof to date that armed movements are taking place in the zone.
Pictures captured on Monday revealed a significant military deployment in the north section of the urban center, adjacent to a key location.
The satellite photo, captured just after 8:30 in the morning time zone, displays about several dozen armored transports positioned among the debris of numerous buildings destroyed in previous period. Haze could also be observed emanating from a structure and a street nearby.
A column of nine vehicles could also be observed to the southern part of the city on a primary thoroughfare near a tactical corridor, where there was a sizable quantity of defense equipment parked in preparation sites enclosed by barriers—temporary fortifications made of sand or dirt.
These transports were not detectable at this spot in earlier latest overhead imagery, although it should be noted that while this photo was recorded in the morning, previous shots were taken in the early daytime.
The photos also showed a thick column of vehicles extending 3.3 km out of the city along a coastal road. Residents have been leaving along this way for a period now, seeking to flee the ongoing fighting.
